G'day folks,
We had a National Luna fridge for a few years and it served us well with trips to the Kimberley, the Cape, and lots of smaller trips. Even with the small freezer on board it had economical power usage and was easy to keep at a set temperature. Auto cut out for low battery levels is a comforting inclusion, although it had never drawn enough power to come into effect.
Just before Christmas on a trip into the High Country it showed a fault code, but continued working although the lowering of the temps took a bit longer than normal. I took it to Cool Factor in Braeside (one of NL agents and a great company to deal with) whereupon they determined that the fridge had a terminal refrigerant leakage within the cabinet. National Luna were contacted and didn't even waiver, but handed over a new fridge.
I have no affiliation with National Luna but thought they deserved a pat on the back for standing by their 3 year warranty.
