As mentioned there is no camping along Condamine Gorge track, and it only takes 20 - 30 minutes at best to drive it.
Camping options around the area include those listed above already, there's a campground near Governors Chair Lookout / on Spicers Gap Track but it's just a camp area surrounded by scrub with no views of anything to enjoy other then that just kick back listen to whip birds (chances are you can have it to yourself). Kalbar Showground has camping but it's not the most scenic location, around the general area is Bigriggen, Mt Barney Lodge, Flanagans Reserve, Gordan Country, Goomburra etc (all these will be super busy over the long weekend). There used to be a nice private camp at the bottom of Cunningham's Gap but it closed last year. There's a few other private camps caround the area also who's names currently escape me
