Sad times for some members this year.
« on: December 18, 2017, 08:22:44 PM »
I understand its a time for family and friends to catch up for the festive season but my condolences and sympathy go out to members of the group who have lost loved ones this year.

Personally I was saddened by news that we have lost a good member and another member lost a close family member this year. I was privileged and honoured to meet them both and spend time with them on trips.

I know members have lost family and friends this year and regretfully we are getting to an age where we hear more about these sad times.

My apologies for posting this up but my sincere condolences go out to family and friends of loved ones lost this year.

Life can be tough at times.

Heartily concur McGirr, I lost a brother 19 years ago just prior to Xmas, it is a tough time of the year, best spent with family and friends. :-[

I always make a toast to absent and departed family and friends.

Everyone stay safe and have a wonderful Xmas

Thanks McGirr

I lost my mother last month, she didn't make this Christmas and it will be my first one off in 4 years. It is a very sad and strange emotional time, but on the other hand it is my first as a Pa with young Amelia my grandaughter.

Regards
