Bunnings trailer ancillaries
« on: November 07, 2017, 09:53:23 AM »
Hi all,
For those who may not have seen them yet, Bunnings are now stocking a range of trailer ancillaries. Over center latches, HD toolbox locks, weld on hinges, gas struts, and even a selection of proper pinch weld seals. Prices on most of the gear appears to be better than eBay judging by what I bought when I did my trailer build. Just thought some of you may be interested 😀

and in bumblings fashion - good luck getting any form of assistance...
- as per yesterday where the 'expert' in the tool shop was more interested in showing his family photos on his phone to his colleague than helping a few of us waiting there..
He just pointed down the back of the toolshop and said down there...
When I picked up what I thought I needed and took to register - he smugly informed me that wasn't what I needed.. so I threw it on the floor, said thanks for your amazing assistance and walked out to the laughter of the other bloke that was still waiting for help...
I'd already been to Mitre10 and they didn't have what I needed, but when I went back there, he'll get it in today for me.

what are you doing going to Weekend Warrior World to buy tools, don't you have any real tool shops nearby?

not open yesterday - Melbourne Cup public holiday :(
Mitre10 usual has what I want and the bloke that runs it personally serves people in the tool area, and has been there for as long as I've been going there... knows his Shit and explains everything to you - gives you options too. I was hoping to get the job finished yesterday, thus the desperation going to sausage sizzle world.

FWIW - Carac is only 15 mins down the road if I need trailer stuff.
