Sort of OK going forwards in a straight line, but tracking around corners would be interesting.

Reckon you could sell tickets to watch him reverse it down a ramp or onto a site though >:D

I knew a gentle man out of Toowoomba that had permits and or permission to tow two horse floats at the same time as long as it was westward. This does go back about 40 odd (maybe a few more) years though and he only had this permit for a couple of years, more or less till light trucks became normal to use. They used to do a lot of rodeo work.

There was a remote grader operator in the Territory who would move camp by towing his ute behind his grader and a caravan behind his ute. The police booked him and he had to move camp in a different manner.
Cheers,

Tom.

Can use a grader to tow multiple trailers up to 42m OAL in outback SA as per this gazette notice -
https://www.nhvr.gov.au/files/t067-sa-operation-of-motor-graders-towing-trailers-up-to-maximum-length-of-42-0-metres-in-remote-areas.pdf

Note, many conditions apply.

I expect similar would apply in outback NT and Qld, although I would not expect it to apply on the more highly populated east coast, Bruce Hwy etc as suggested earlier.

Also remember these are Heavy Vehicles to which different rules apply than to light vehicles.

They track quite nicely and two trailers are not to bad to backup, with the third one on its a bit trickier.
Here is a setup that I use, its not road legal and I'm not going to admit that I've used it on public roads  8)

I recall some years back booking in to a cara park at Botany Bay and the bloke insisted on backing the Jayco into our site. It was then this Adelaidean realised they don't waste a skerrick of land in Sidonee and they sure know how to charge for it, but I suddenly had visions of throwing the keys to these rigs to our intrepid parker, so long as I wasn't paying for the night  >:D
