Hi Brett,

I have just signed on to the Fraser Island Trip.

There is a bunch of threads re the Fraser island with lots of waffle in them it is hard to find all of the real trip details and decision's.

Would it be possible for the trip organiser to create a locked header message in the trip sub board which detailed all the trip details, so reading one thread with NO waffle in it would let know how where when how etc.

The first message in Topic: Members Going To Fraser Island - May 2010 is good but it would be nice to know camping location info, where to meet up etc.

With the large membership and regular new members it would be easier to see what trips are happening where and when.

Also the suggestion to add trips  them to the Calender is good.

The waffle that you speak of is just light hearted banter between great friends. Most of us have camped and travelled together in the past, so most of us have history. Don't be put off by this nor deterred to get involved. We are a great group of like minded people, and yeah, we do tend to waffle on and stir each other (especially at Happy Hour); but it sure does create an open and comical atmosphere for all. So feel free to jump on board and stir the pot.......it is an enjoyable experience!

Thanks for producing the details listing for Fraser Island trip, Looks Great.

I had worked out most of it last nite but it took ages to wade through the mass of messages.

I know the waffle is all part of the message board, its just in this case it is much easier to have a clear message like Karen has just posted as a trip info notice.
