No Grand Parade in the main arena of live stock , No ribbons to the best of bread etc  . Stump up the cash buy your show bags , go on rides, have you pocket picked , get ripped off then go home .

thats why I've asked a few times about 'country fairs' or real country shows..
The royal and the easter show are and have been extortion for decades... sad to think they started off as free sample bags with useful stuff in em instead of lots of discount vouchers you'll never use

ln  " Show  Bags " you used to get a ruler & pencels to take to school , a comic to read , a trick to learn , a block of sugar as  something to eat & other bag stuffers at an inflated /reasonable price .
Now its just C R A P , Lighten your wallet a heap or flash the plastic
