Brisbane Airport Parking
« on: September 04, 2017, 04:14:45 PM »
Afternoon all,
We are having to make a 5 or 6 day trip overseas starting this coming weekend and need to leave our BT50 ute and Lifestyle Reconn in Brisbane somewhere
Can anyone please suggest where there is safe secure parking for our vehicles that is handy to the Airport. I spoke to Andrews Parking and they suggested Gateway Parking ??
Does anyone have any other suggestions - preferably one that doesnt involve me handing over my keys for them to test drive it  ;D ;D
Another possibility is that I have a mate at Lake MacDonald where I could leave my camper and just park my ute ???
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Cheers

Goshen

Hi Goshen, I'm happy for you to park it up at our place. We are on a semi rural 1 acre on North side about 22Km to Airport, an approx 20-30 min drive in reasonable traffic.A taxi fare is about $55 ( that's what it cost me last week) but depending on when I could drop you out and or pickup. Rig would be parked up down the back out of prying eye sight, with a river view if you want to camp before or after you leave.
Send me a Msg if you want more details

Ditto mate, we're on 1/2 acre on south side about 20km from airport. Welcome to park in the back yard out of sight in a locked yard. But don't have a river view .....lol.

Cheers

Rags that s a hell of a backyard - I dont know how you live with that :)
Thanks to all of you for the offers - its bloody great ......
The problem has now solved itself really. The camper is staying up at our mates place and we are making a dash to get to Brissie to fly out as soon as we can get there.
Its been a tough old time for one reason and another for me lately and this was another hiccup to sort out.
My Swag is a great place to come and solve problems sometimes  ;D

All going well we'll be back in Brisbane in a couple of weeks and then have 2 weeks to get back to Cairns camping all the way - hopefully with no hassles to deal with.

Cheers and thanks again.
