Jayco JPod

Do anyone have a Jayco JPod?
What do you think of your Pod?

I saw those teardrops before but they never tickle my fancy. I think it is because they have the mini door to the side and had a rooftop on top.
So I never understand why you will have a very small inside (basically bed only) and have a rooftop tent.

The Pod looks tempting especial the bare bone model.
I want to set it up as a Fraser Island fishing trailer/mini-caravan

Anyway, what is your view. Are they any good on dirt road?

Could always buy this one in the classified section or build it http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=45052.0 cheaper than a Jpod.. or do a Matt the camper version as in the pic [ Google KELSEY camper ] .http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=22876.msg356430#msg356430

Hoping no one here has one and is offended by this......they're a Bloody Ripoff...!

They are not much more than a bed in a fibreglass pod with a bit of room for a small car fridge and not much else.  No kitchen to speak off.  For the money, I cannot see the value in them.

You could buy a good teardrop camper for similar money and get a great setup with loads of kit.
