Rawnsley Park - No Need To Book Directly.
« on: August 26, 2017, 07:23:43 AM »
Some of you have already started your planning which is awesome, but please note:

You DO NOT have to book a site with Rawnsley Park directly.  Much closer to the time we will take bookings and will organise payments through MySwag, just like it was done for the Mansfield Meet earlier this year.

We have plenty of room - 44 powered sites and their unpowered section is 2km x 1km so big enough that you can be totally isolated from everyone - if that is what you want.

One thing we do have to inform you about is that if you do choose a powered site, there is a 4 night minimum stay as it is Easter, however we have negotiated that the 4 nights can either be Thursday to Sunday, or Friday to Monday.  Of course, for both powered and unpowered, you can arrive earlier and stay later, you just need to inform us when we ask for bookings down the track.

We will also let you know of the pricing in due course as we are still in the midst of negotiating a cheaper than normal rate for everyone.

Thanks.

I've been going to the Flinders at Easter most years since 1978 - it can get very busy up there at that time of the year. Rawnsley Park is big, but this year at Easter the powered sites were about 3/4 occupied. Just sayin' lol!

Hi Me,
We have already secured the 44 powered sites just for MySwag members, plus a large unpowered section just for MySwag members (for those that want to be in the same area) so although it can get busy up there we have got in early to make sure we have the space we want for our National Meet.
It is just that attendees will do their bookings through MySwag (when we ask for them closer to the time) instead of Rawnsley directly - hope this makes sense.
