We have been checking out CTs for a while and it's come down to these two. Which would you choose and why?

Appreciate your help.

Welcome to the Zoo!

A hard question to answer, all depends on what your situation is, couple or family, what you require,  etc.

Both campers are represented here  in the "what CT do you own"  thread.

A better question might be to ask of owners experiences with each, as the answer to your question really does come down to individual preferences.

We checked out the Austrack at their place in Caboolture a few weeks and they look pretty good. The free options sure make it a good buy to, also having the largest water tank in the rear is also a good idea. Actually we are thinking of selling the van and buying one.

I'd be looking around the used market at something 2-3 yrs old and used twice... bad time of year to be selling and theres bargains to be had...
lots of people make the mistake of buying their new dream caravan and then try and sell their trailer and when it doesn't sell in months they drop their price like a brides nighty..

I am biast, as I already own a modcon forward fold. I like that the austrack has all the accessories included, didn't like that the ensuite is permanently attached to the side walls and can't be stand alone
I do prefer that the inside cabinets of the modcon are steel, but that does not detract from the timber in the austrack, most vans are timber and seem to survive quite ok
But as I said previously I'm a bigger fan of the modcon and already had most of the accessories, I was only missing the shower and I got the joolca with my camper.
At the end of the day, both seem to be good campers

No boys, just something  to think  about down the track, will have to down size at some stage.
