Your thoughts on the value of a CT have been discussed many times on here. OK, your $10K CT suits you and makes you happy, that's great, congratulations. But please do not disparage others who have purchased a more expensive CT. It is a choice they made to suit themselves. They are happy. Bagging those with an expensive CT is poor form with hints of jealousy.

X2. Horses for courses. I had a Kimberley Kamper Limited for around 5 years, pounded through country most wouldn't take their 4X4, never an issue other than a minor split in the seam on the water tank, stainless welded and all good. The Kamper was sold for $3000 less than I had paid, I think I got my moneys worth, and then some.
Now own a Vista RV that has also been through some rough country and does it extremely well. I doubt most "economy" campers would last the distance on my travels. As said, horses for courses.
