Got a mate running a stand at this show, pretty happy with their turn over on Friday he told me at dinner last night, so sounds like a bit of gear is being sold there this weekend.  Said he's just booked a stand at the big show at the RNA later this year, $30K it's costing them  :o that's a lot of sales needed right there to justify such an outlay.

I went for a look see on Friday. Korr had a 150w solar blanket on display with a watt meter attached showing 0.34A, granted this was on the inner stage under cover on a very sunny day but for the super cheap show special price of $650 I passed. Current SC catalogue has similar for $375.
Was looking at a swing out fridge slide on a soft floor, salesman asks if I would like a brochure, "sure" I say, he comes back with brochure and says "today only deal I can throw in a boat rack". Festool back packs are a great bit of kit but they won't fit a boat rack ya fkn!
Grabbed a kebab on the way out, $11 bucks is ok, got given a 1/2 industry standard size with heat treated lettuce and gristle.
Best part was paying online for entry, fought my tight arse inner demons on the 20% surcharge. No one pre pay next year!
Cheers,
Paul
