I checked these out at the Redcliffe show....I'm temped given the lack of space in the Poptop and might be better for cooking in a confined space instead of a Coleman dual fuel, plus when we are overseas we won't have gas.
The demo guy indicated using the 1000w setting when using an inverter off 12v.
I think my sums are right
1000/12 = 83amp/hr
13-14 amps if you spend 10 minutes cooking (although as soon as you take the pan off I assume the power drops right off)
Demos always look good...these were 200$ and assembled in Brisbane. Certainly looked a quality unit.
