As the barge pulls out the ramps are still down or slightly up hill, the deck on the Manta Ray slopes down at the ramps, There are signs  and the decky usualy tells you to turn the vehicle off / be in gear and apply the hand brake ..

I was thinking the same but any time I've seen them park with wheels on the ramp it's at the front and they get you to drive up onto it, and in the vid old mate is parked at the back with heaps of space.  Park brake or not I don't know why the ramp wasn't up tha far from shore, at the back???

There's no Great Evil conspiracy against consumers within engineering, manufacturing and supply. Just the many tradeoffs incurred to satisfy diverse tastes, priorities and wallets. But first comes all the insatiable Gummint eggsperts, nanny-staters and usual suspects.

By "educate" they mean roadworthy inspections, weigh scales and lots of fines.

Like when they go to car shows / events to "interact with the public"...

I don't think they're trying to force anything on anyone. They have just decided that material they have seen, at the establishment named, was insulting to them, and have decided to cease co-operation. No biggie.
I'm sure we'd do the same in a similar, but reversed situation.

So who was it in the blue Colorado that finished up in the drink at North Straddie yesterday ??? >:D

Article said that they drove out of one of the inland tracks too fast & finished up in the drink!

Bit weird - saw the article on News last night & can find it on Google "ute-swept-up-by-surf-of-north-stradbroke-island" but the linked story can't be found?

Good excuse to get on the news and 'politely' say you're not happy with all of these American soldiers on your door step.

Yeah, but there is a vast difference in cultures at play too. Anyway, it appears Wuryanto was going off half cocked, and there wasn't any decision by their government to cease co-operation.

I'd still rather we had nothing to do with them anyway.

Edit: Sorry, Gatot, not Wuryanto.
