Looks great!

But how much $$; and what's the tonnage?    Also; I can't quite make out the cabin arrangements...
ie: It looks like to me (from the wide angle photo of the bed) - that the dinette is at the end of the bed? .. and I can't see (from the pic), if there is space on either side of the bed to get in/out?

As I said - looks a nicely blinged up design - and would potentially suit the glamping market..   Looks like a great quality kitchen etc..

Looking forward to reading more about this innovative design...

You get out and in to the world -- you take more @#&$. …You climb a little higher, ..you take less @#&$.  …Till one day -- you're up in the rarefied atmosphere -- and you've forgotten what @#&$ even looks like….  Welcome to the layer cake son.

Being a true offroad van and therefore being narrow, with a queen size mattress, I am assuming there would be a narrow gap down each side of the bed which is on a raised platform to accomodate the kitchen etc underneath.  Pretty standard design across many makes.

Interesting design - looks very tall and no window for the shower / toilet?  Looks well appointed though with having lithium batteries, a grey water tank, decent water / solar etc.

I'm guessing in the six figures or very close to it.

Reckon that'd be a pretty good guess on price. Looks like there is a sunroof above where the loo/shower is rather than a window. Interesting to see figures on weight/tow ball weight etc. they have said it will be lighter than anything else in it's class. We pick up our EDX in Feb so will hopefully get a sneak peek.

Been reading of several issues with the most popular 3 in 1 caravan window, particulary on rough roads.  Guessing they were thinking the less potential issues the better.  I like their thinking.

Reckon $100K will be a bit low.  Hopefully not too much more.

$89,950 fully optioned quoted on FB by Mountain trail. I'd say that's not bad given the quality and engineering if you have that sort of cash.

I'm not sure that the mono white appearance does it any favours visually. To my eye it looks very tall and appliance like.

No doubt a great design and high spec finish though.

Cheers!

Wow, was expecting it to be a lot more.  Certainly keenly priced to get into the market.  Cheaper than their obvious competitors.

I think you're right about the appearance, looks like a Kelvinator on wheels. The full van height doesn't help, most competitors have a pop top which lowers the travel height and makes them more bush compatible, not that many will see that sort of use.

I reckon, considering the it is fully optioned with Lithium batteries, aircon, etc, ect, for $89,990, that it would be a good $10K cheaper than a similar sized Complete Campsite and then you would still only have an external shower and toilet tent outside on the CC and probably $15K cheaper than an AOR.  Think you need to consider the options which are included.  The Lithium option normally adds $3.5K to most vans.

KB,
I think you'll find, like all of the other Hybrid makers, the initial price doesn't last long while they get interest and a few into the market place. The price then goes up reasonably quickly after a little while.

They forgot to put the 'hybrid' bit in. That is a caravan.

Pop top would be another nice option as well as kitchen that can be turned sideways along the van to save space under the awning.
Missing out on that with this van.

.....kitchen that can be turned sideways along the van to save space under the awning.

Why do manufacturers persist with locating the kitchen in the middle of the awning area?

These units look nice enough, but too narrow and high to my eye. A bit "tippy".....

I dont know if it is or isnt an option but I like the idea of Bruder X's adjustable ride height for this reason, I saw a new big offroad caravan being towed up the M1 at 110km/hr yesterday and was wandering more than what looked safe to me.

We have the Mountain Trail EDX and it is a fantastic camper and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Mountain Trail Campers is releasing a hybrid version of their campers.

It also looks a little on the high (Height) side. but has all the bells and whistles.

The hybrid looks good but at $89,950.00, is a lot to pay for a camper that in my opinion which is basically an caravan.  I know a lot of the Hybrids are expensive in this range but really? an off-road caravan is in the range of 50K.

I don't know why they call it a hybrid when it is a caravan?
