We are looking at the possibility later on this year of upgrading out KK platinum to a Rhinomax Discovery. Struggling to find fault with the Discovery though I have not seen one first hand.
We have loved our KK and it has been faultless but my better half has arthritis in his knees from an old sports injury and a doggy back so thinking moving forward we may be better off with something quicker and easier to set up.
I have seen many of the other KK, AOR, CC, Lotus, Crossover etc, but none of them seem to quite match the set up and user friendliness of the Discovery. My particular loves are the fact that the awning is the very last thing to pack up and goes the full length. Also my 16 year old still likes to bunk with us sometimes to save putting her tent up which makes things a little crapped in the KK but with the Discovery they can put a bed above the queen which can be pushed up out of the way when not being used and doesn't effect floor space have verified weight limits and length Rhino and no issue. The only down side I can see is a lack of kitchen bench space, but as I have found out with the KK more bench space means more crap just not put away.
So my question is if there are any Discovery owners out there tell me what you think, how does it travel?, is there enough storage? what extras do you did you get that are worth while and which extra's do you now wish you had got.
