Has anyone had any experience with
these 12v ceiling fans, with the weather heating up I thought they might be a good way of keeping cooler in the camper, they seem cheap enough at $12.58ea but nut sure how much they would hurt when you accidentally put your hand in one. They have a diameter of 50cm and a draw of about 0.7A so I think that would probably suit a camper.

They do sell ones with speed controllers for about double the price (which is still cheap) and would probably be safer as you could turn it down to a suitable speed but I am guessing that they are just a variable resistor and, it would be more energy efficient (and cheaper) to build one using a little PWM controller like one of
these and put it in a box like
