Silvo, what you just said makes alot of sense.
Just speaking with CIL, and posted the last post up while on hold with RACV. CIL mentioned that any caravan sales places will be happy to do this. Now to call them and find out how much they charge.
I wondered why an independant valuation was needed, along with photos.
is it just being insured as a box trailer?
I told them it was a home made camper trailer.
RACV would not have a bar of it, even after letting them know I am a qualified boilermaker, pressure welder and senior welding inspector.
CGU rudely cut me off after asking me if I had any other policies with them, or part of a financial institution that was part of CGU. I answer no, so they cut me off. RUDE PRICKS
CIL were really good, and gave me a quote on my estimated value.
