We are glad to get rid of him, but no doubt clarko saw something in him. He is a pretty good kick and it doesnt look like roughy is coming back soon.

Clarkson and the board are no mugs.  Half the bloody coaches in AFL come from Hawthorn stck. Mitchell will have 1 more year then go coaching. Lewis may be good for three. These lads have nothing else to prove at Hawthorn and can go to another club where their experience will be invaluable. Different club may also reinvigorate them. Not that they were shabby anyways. Hawks will be planning for the future and hopefully Roughy will be part of it in 2017. Whatever decisions and moves the hawks make for 2017 you can bet your left knacker they will be at the top end of the ladder again...
