Which CT/Van/Truck with dirt bikes
« on: August 19, 2016, 09:35:32 PM »
Hi all, posting for a mate.
He's in the market for an off-road capable (pref Aus made), trailer truck or van which can take a couple of dirt bikes (KTM450s). Presumably, trips are either 2 blokes with bikes OR no bikes and 2 young kids.
Must be capable off road. This guy avoids the black top at all cost (the cost being my punctured tyres!).
He has looked at IVECO and UNIMOGS (can store at his work) but his wife raised a rather high eyebrow at the purchase of a "Moonbuggy". (And to be honest, she wears the pants*).
Since then looking at modded Kimberley Kampers and Aussieswag CTs.
What other offroad trailers are capable of taking a couple of dirtbikes? (Brisbane area ideal)
*may or may not be true.

Found a couple of options for campers that can carry bikes depending on budget etc :

http://macropodcampers.com.au/

Another option out of left field maybe something like the Jayco Base Station Outback?

Live for the moment.

Hi,

Not sure if you are after new or second hand but a mate has his custom built soft floor up for sale. Will fit two bikes on the front platform,
