5000 posts of drivel
« on: August 14, 2016, 09:43:54 AM »
Well I can't believe that I've hit 5000 useless posts on Myswag. It was at the start of 2012 when the family and I decided to get our Jayco Swan outback and found this site. I can honestly say that it was a life changing moment for us. We have met some of the best people on this site that I love chatting to & there is a group of the Mexicans that we have spent many a night around a campfire having a quiet drink and many a laugh which I would help at any time in a flash

What a lot of people don't see is the amount of support away from this great forum that many in here provide and that is what makes MYSWAG the brilliant forum it is today

In 2012 this site was used for some camper Info, in 2016 I see Myswag as a way of life

Thank you

Swannie

Drivel aside  & camp fire smoke sniffing  its a common  thread of like minded people that make MySwag as it it . Should it be Hutche, GeoffA , Dougie , Hairs , Big Jules , Jeepers C  , TrevC  or any of the other Nardowells  mentioned on a roll call of bagabonds . MySwag aint anything without these  people , & swannie/starsky .

l have traveled many miles /Ks , met many people from all walks of life . But l have never met a bunch of Fire Gazers that l would not  be proud to camp with , & call them Mates .
Starsky  you need to speak up , don't be bashfull                       :cup:

5000 Posts of Drivel

But  This is the Bloke that has gone out of his way to introduce his kids to Camping . He has introduced his progeny  to Mud at Mitchel's.  He has tormented Rose with a truck load of wet , muddy kids after a weekend of camping .  He has upgraded to the  " Darkside "  ( caravan ) so Rose will be warm & has  " inside facilities " . & a Huge THANKS for the SwagMail from Syd To Melb via Bris  as hand luggage . So l will listen to his crap .

There is not doubt there are some dodgy people out there (SJI, etc..!!) but for the most of the people I have met on her could have nearly been my school mates (if I was much much older!!). So I agree with you 100% here.

5000 posts of quality that may vary from you perspective, but its 5000 posts from a great bloke IMHO. Look forward to the next catch-up mate.
