Census night tonight...comments?

I just finished the Census for our household for three people.
No probs logging in, relatively painless, wo to go less than 15 minutes on the iPad.

Did mine last Saturday, 10 minutes. Can't understand the tin-foil hat brigade carry on at the moment.

Mine won't friggin log on.......

Keeps crapping on about enabling java.

Done it over and over and changed just about every bleeding setting on all devices. Ipoood, I phoneafriend, PC, Mac, Laptop x 3 and 2 x android phones.............
Same damn thing.

Tried other IP on other modem, nothing.
May have to resort to going to the neighbours, but then the census won't be right!!!!!!

Missus just got a message about being overloaded with a high volume of users and not to worry, fill it in tomorrow...........

If anyone on here works for the ABS - can I refer you to the Gun thread! >:D (And I will happily change my opinion!)

Geez, I must have just been very lucky. It was almost as if the whole thing was designed for an iPad. I did have the paperwork version dropped off at the front door last week but it would have taken ages to write it.

The system will not let me log on, looks like its a little busy. Try the phone line, its totally shagged as well. Looks like I will be doing it another day, could see it coming from a mile away

Got half mine done and saved went to complete it after tea now cant save it, what nutter in the government thought the whole country could log into a site at one time. Mine has just timed out and all unsaved data was lost. They had their chance now they can guess the rest

Haven't even looked at anything to do with the census yet, and sounds like no point in trying either after reading this. Misses reckoned we have ages to get it submitted, so will look at doing it in the coming days.

Got half way through ours and it crashed I'm not worries about my details being on it with social media and forums etc hahahaha just thought they may have expected a decent load on the system and allowed for it.

They said this morning that the system would cope with twice the expected traffic. Let's hope their privacy protections are better than this server load estimations.

Yeh it's September 23 for the online form just has to be representative of where u were on the night of the 9th
