The first one is a day tour:

http://horizontalfallsadventures.com.au/tour/derby-day-tour/

The one I like is this one, an overnight tour:

A video of the area :

We do expect prices to change but I will do my best to get a group discount.

Please advise which tour you would prefer.

Hi Mark, We did the overnight trip from Derby in 2013 and was just brilliant. They had underwater lights shining at night and you could see the sharks and fishes swimming around. The cabins while small were quite comfortable, the amenities were shared. On arrival we were asked to remove footwear as they did not want then in the cabins only put them back on when leaving so no spares needed. We were limited to a 5Kg backpack each although we weren't weighted our friends who did it the previous year where. Most people just backed a warm jacket and grog. Cheers, Marty

Marty, sounds great. How many cabins did they have available.

Mark, there were 2 house boats with 12 cabins in each, i think some were used by staff so probably 20 available. We booked in Kununurra about 3 weeks out making sure we were close to the high tide. Marty

Have done the overnight and it is brilliant.  Also did the helicopter flight and it is well worth it.  Just make sure you get the right tides!   We also had a full moon.   :cup:      Kevin

We are in the same position. We should be able to find a dog sitter for all of us.

Hi Everyone

(I have emailed everyone also this information)

Regarding the 24Hr waterfall tour could people advise who is interested.

They only cater for 12 people at a time for this tour which means we can do 2 tours on consecutive nights.

The current cost is $1490 per person. Yes not cheap and will be negotiating a deal if possible.

I understand not everyone can afford this trip and you are under no pressure to do it. There are other tours with them which are a lot cheaper.

For the 24hr trip I will need full names of the members going and also their weights. The weights are for the plane as they are limited on carrying capacity. Please email this information. Cheers.

Any other questions feel free to email, pm or call me 0407287620

$1490 PER ADULT (twin share)

$1690 PER ADULT (single)

A lot of coin , but for a once in a life time experience , probably worth every cent .

Ah OK we did the overnight tour from Derby. IMHO that was long enough. The 24 hour trip includes a few things we didn't do. Have fun it's a bucket list thing.

We'll do one of the other options Mark. More than likely the overnight option rather than the 24hr. Although it looks amazing, for all 4 of us we'd not eat for a few weeks  ;D

Hi Everyone,

I have spoken to Ian at Kimberley Entrance Caravan Park in Derby regarding tours to the Horizontal Waterfalls.

I advised him we will have roughly 10 to 12 vehicles with campers and vans.

He advised that he is happy to book any waterfall tours and does not require full payment till 60 days prior to the trip. So payment not due till the 13th April 2018 approx.

He will keep the caravan park rates at 2017 prices for our stay there.

Dates are:

Arrive Derby Tuesday 12th June 2018.

Leave Derby Friday 15th June 2018.

I would suggest to the members going on the 24hr tour is to book for the Wednesday 13th June 2018.

Members who wish to do other tours then I would suggest either the Wednesday 13th June or Thursday 14th June.

Information required for the tours:

Full names

Weights of the people traveling

As there will be freshly caught Barra for dinner on the overnight and 24hr tour if pepple do not like fish then advise Ian whether you like red or white meat for dinner.

Full names

What style of camper, ie side opening, rear opening etc

What style of van and size.

Your postcode
