Well that might explain why the staff at check in I noticed put her initials on my 2 voting sheets... effectively linking my votes with her check off book / electrical roll??....
I thought at the time - how does that make the voting process totally anonymous and democratic; aka... welcome a gulag 1950s style USSR....

The papers are issued by the role checking person.
You have to be on the role to get the papers.
For the papers to be valid, they have to have the role checkers squiggle in the corner.
No squiggle, not counted.
You then go off to a nearby location and complete the papers as required.
They should not be able to see or record your choice, even though you are still within their view.
Once you complete the papers, you then place/insert those papers into a ballot box with everybody else's.
Did you sign those ballot papers with your name address and phone No.? I hope not.
That's the only way, unless you get them to help you fill out the ballot papers.
Then you get the Deceased people who still vote from beyond the grave, good trick if you can get it done.
Did you use a pencil to fill out the forms, I hope not.
So much easier to change a pencil mark than a ballpoint pen or felt tip pen/marker vote.
