I once woke up on the beach in front of Broadbeach surf club at 2am in the morning.

I hadn't been molested (well not that I could tell) and still had my wallet.

I broke down on a road to a mining camp in northern WA just before dark. I knew traffic would be along in the morning so I cracked the drivers window down 3-4 inches and slept through a freezing night. I woke the next morning to an emu head in the window and it's beak three inches from my nose. I Shit myself... I think the emu did too

I have woken up once in a cactus garden... Out front of a friends place.
Misspent youth...
From memory I was physically reminded for a week or so afterwards.
Around the same age I may have woken up in the watch house once or twice. But there's no evidence of that. So it can't be true.

Taking the then girlfriend  back to Redbank Plains after hard week of long days at work and a couple of extra long days awake going out down the coast one winter.
Last thing I can remember is she was asleep and I passed some night road workers at Archerfield, roughly 1 or 2 am.. Woke up at her parents property parked on the drive way in front of the closed gates, stll behind the wheel and her still asleep in the passenger seat at daylight, car running and lights on .
To this day I still have no recollection of  how we got there .

I used to live in Harbord (the first beach north of Manly, now called Freshwater). I had been out to a work xmas party and we went back to Manly clubs afterward. Next morning I woke up at the Queenscliff headland - in the back seat of a Volvo, with my wallet beside me. I did not know anyone who owned a Volvo, I did not know anyone in that street. I don't know how I got in the car, I have imagined I was just stumbling along and tried the door???

A complete mystery. I just hopped out of the car and walked the five minutes or so from that spot to home.

Going to bed with a gorgeous "lady", then to wake beside something more fit for the zoo. I definitely don't remember going to bed with that.....

Ps she may have thought  the same when she wakes and looks at me.... but I'm all good with that. I'm only human.

I remember walking out of a bar, next thing I remember is waking up at home with my then girlfriend.
Somewhere in between
I drove from the bar to the shop and bought a 12 pack of beer.
I then drove 3/4 of an hour through town to pick up my then girlfriend and her 2 yr old kid.
Then drove nearly 2 hours on the dark back country roads to my home.
I still get chills every time I think about that night.
I remember walking out of a bar, next thing I remember is waking up at my brothers place 4 hours away, an empty bottle of Jack Daniels next to me that I must have purchased somewhere along the way but damned if I knew where.
Walked out of a party, next thing I know I'm waking up at my dads place to him asking me to move my car so he could go to work
Looked out the window and my car was parked sideways in his driveway between two 4' deep ditches. Took me nearly 30 minutes of back and forth to get it out of the driveway.
Walked out of a bar, next thing I know I'm waking up at a mates place. Good news is I didn't drive there. But it took nearly 4 days before we found my car and it was only by accident. Somehow I drove it down a narrow alley and parked it behind a dumpster. Don't ask what I was doing in the alley because I promised her I would never tell anyone. ;D
And NONE of those incidents even slowed down my drinking.
I am so grateful that I lived long enough to quit drinking...

We ended up working out we flew over on the Sunday morning from Melbourne and we were at crown Saturday.
Nah we were celebrating one of the guys finally getting his promotion. It was only supposed to be a quiet weekend in Melbourne with a few drinks and some poker.... It certainly ended up a little more rowdy than that haha.
A fair few pineapples were given out when we got back Monday afternoon lol.

  • Cheers- It's 12 O'clock somewhere
too many too remember properly, but hid in a trailer under a tarp at a B&S to get away from my mates and their debaucherous ways and when i woke up later i climbed out and had been driven by the owner of the trailer (friendly farmer) to his house some 80km away. I had to ask for a ride back and explain how i had got there. Yep it was a rough dirt road and empty trailer and somehow id stayed asleep.
