Hello from Caloundra, Qld
« on: April 23, 2016, 08:58:28 PM »
Hi.
Hubby and I have just bought a vintage camper to do a full reno on :)
This is our first ever foray into the world of caravanning.

My parents are veteran "gray nomads" so I have learnt a bit via osmosis, but first hand
experience is always better.

Can anybody shed any light on what we have actually bought??
The old rego sticker says 1988 Viscount but I have serious doubts about that :)

I have started a blog to document our journey.  Feel free to have a look.

Thanks

Welcome to myswag.  It could be an old Viscount but I am no expert.  Good luck with the reno.

Happy camping

Welcome to the forum and hope you have fun renovating the camper.

We had an old cmaper that was a pushup like yours but the people before us converetd it to the Jayco style winderup gear all bolted to the outside, the insides of our with the sink, beds and seating looked exactly like yours.

Under the paint we could see a sticker that they had painted over that said "Camper King". We've never been able to find any info on them from way back when.
