Love when she says at 14.00 "If crawling is not going to work - then time for something else"  Boom...

It would have been easier if the spotter had told her to use a bit of right hand down and actually steer the wheels where she wanted the vehicle to go...

Pretty easy being an armchair critic. I just reckon its good to see a woman having a go. It might just inspire more to get out there and enjoy it with their fella.

Ditto, at least she's having a good try.
Nice truck too, pity about the vinyl wrap signage.  At least its helping to prevent bush pin-striping.

Curious - where in the food chain do you think she fits?

Producer's gf; or the actual driver of the show - the brains behind the whole idea; (not only a 4wd driver I mean); or was she recruited and employed by the show's owners - to create market differentiation and create the exact effect that is happening -- 4WD eye candy; and we are all talking about it.... whilst the show sticks it to all the other competition... the "Okka yob-squads" like  - (the All For Adventure boyz); (Roothy; Glenno & cork head); (PatnHat); and the 4WD Action mob - (haven't watched or purchased one of the videos in years - so don't know what they call themselves over there....)
You get out and in to the world -- you take more @#&$. …You climb a little higher, ..you take less @#&$.  …Till one day -- you're up in the rarefied atmosphere -- and you've forgotten what @#&$ even looks like….  Welcome to the layer cake son.

Don't know about now, but she's had her show going for about 3 years in small episodes prior

I've spoken to Penny. She is the brains behind the show, for sure.

Not a bad show. I purchased season 5 after seeing this post. Great to see the girls out there having a crack.

Good show tonight on Blue Rag, fun to see them tackling High Country mud, they wouldn't have seen that before.

I find it easier to watch with the volume down with the fast forward button handy.
She has been making shows for a few years now. The first car was a white GU TD42 with like a 6" lift. Very similar to the all for adventure crew.
Toyota jumped on board and gave her a cruiser same as the all for adventure guys. She then started to do fishing sections from charter boats. Similar to the all four adventure boys.
As for her 4wding ability she is getting better, i found a few old videos on You tube ( looks like before her first show or maybe out cuts) and her man was doing all the hard/ technical driving. Seen her a few times have a little trouble and you can see her looking for help.

She might be the brains behind the show but her man is the 4wder in my opinion.

Have to start you tubing Layland Brothers to go back to non commercialised adventure shows.
Diff locked TD 80 series.

Wasn't he supposed to drive in the first season on Cape York but had an injury just before they set out?

Not a bad show,  it was on Foxtel, not sure if it still is, haven't seen it for a while, does always amuse me when she goes off bush walking in thongs or sandals though.

Speaking of coil Cruisers I saw a new cab chassis Cruiser the other week on a car carrier, noticed it had both leaf and coils in the rear, What's the go there?
