The local council around here want to hope that some people along our  coast dont see this vid ..Reckon a few tree tops that interupt their ocean veiws might get trimmed in the dead of night .. Some  have already been caught out using poisons .

Number of times when that has happened (seems to be a bit of a problem around Casurina / Salt area?) I've said that the best solution would be fill in the new empty space with a bill-board, labelled something like "You killed the trees, hope you enjoy your new view", & leave it there until replacement trees are fully grown  >:D

I think they did that in Sydney somewhere.  They put up a giant screen and painted trees on it, that obstructed the view until the new ones grew back. Waverly council puts up 'shame signs' and plants two new trees = "Tree Vandalised, Waverley Council will plant two new trees”
