Long term trip did you take the webber
« on: April 03, 2016, 06:17:40 PM »
I rushed out and bought the baby q for our 4 mth trip ..now I find myself wondering if I should take or take other things

If you took one did you regret it ...if left it at home did you wish you took it

I have a choice between the baby q OR BBQ plate and camp oven

Im leaning towards the later at present

Mate, we take our Weber Baby Q everywhere.  Took it to the centre, 8,000 kms in 4 weeks.  Used it 9 out of 10 days.  Best way to cook meat.  And cook cakes and scones.  Wouldn't leave home without it.  Lots of places didn't allow open fires.

Took our Q220 and used nearly every day in some capacity, Livvy baked all kinds of muffins and biscuits, we baked bread, pizza etc. An easy add for us.

We do one big trip of 3-4 months most years and we use our baby Q all the time.
We do not leave home without it.

....... well, well - learning about that versatile BBQ stand has clinched the deal for me!      :cup:  spada!!

And because SWMBO wants a Ziggy; according to outbackbbqstands website - they can modify the stand to accommodate other brands...   hallelujah brother!!                ;D
