tie down rail ..made it

I am looking for something like this rail...KK wont sell it so need to find something similar..

I dont want the movable ones just a solid angle like the pic

any links appreciated

UPDATE: any KK owners, could you measure the rail pictured I think it looks like 40 x 75 or similar  ;D ;D ;D

You got a drill press?  Ali angle, center punch and a drill press will have that made up before you finish reading my reply.  ;D

I know I know ..just trying to save myself the work as the arm is really playing up ..been doing to much with it..but I think you might be right lads I,ll have to get the Mrs drilling ..

Just walked down to the shed for you and measured mine....The bit that riverts to the camper is 40mm wide, and the upright is 50mm. The angle is 4mm thick, and the holes are about 16mm diameter. The bottom 40mm bit is flat, but the 50mm upright has a nice pretty rolled edge on it that is thicker then the main 4mm section.

thanks mate ..your a legend :cup: :cup: :cup: i thought i remembered a nice rolled edge from when we had the KK which i think must be a special profile or something ..I,ll do some hunting around

well after feeling inadequate and knowing my MYSWAG credibility would be shot to pieces if I bought something i could make I spent the day doing this.

Found some 40 x 40 x 3 behind the shed..

Its not finished as Lara wants it black and seeing as she helped me do it I said she could decide so they need to be removed and painted then re-fitted with some silicone under each one to stop any leaks through the bolt holes.
