Gday
« on: March 28, 2016, 03:40:09 PM »
Gday,

Have been lurking around here for months now, after years of camping in our tent we have decided its time for an upgrade.

Looking at either an Outback Newell or Aussie Jays Crusher, prefer the Newell - Aussie made tent and rear fold - We spend most of our time in CP's and the rear fold will make life easier -  but the Crusher is a lot of bang for you buck especially as its on sale at the moment, their service is awesome & watching the trailers been built we can tell its a good thing.

Anyways we need to stop procrastinating make our mind up and get a deposit paid, thanks for the add & look forward to chatting.

Cheers Tim

G'day Tim ...   and welcome to this place....    (tempted to say "sometimes crazy place") ....  but as a longtime reader -- you will already know that. ...LOL....

Once you put down your deposit on the CT of you choice - you are going to feel fantastic! !!    :)    ...  Selecting getaway freedom does have compromises - but there will be a CT out there with you name on it.....    :)

Welcome to the forum Timnshell.

Outback certainly do make a nice unit.
There are a couple of Outback rear-folds for sale in the camper trailer classifieds.

Thanks guys,

Yep Geoff saw the Tanami for sale a bit above our budget and also to heavy for our tow vehicle.

Going to drop into Outback tomorrow to see what sort of deal they will do.

Cheers guys

Welcome to the Forum Tim, have we made a choice yet, I am a little biased towards Tambo, they are a great trailer and canvas

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

We have just paid a deposit on the Outback Newell with a few options, electric brakes, 12V & annex side walls.

The guys at Outback are awesome and are going to send some build pics which I will upload.

Taking delivery early July, we are doing a Cobram trip in September but excited to do some practice runs, we like Glen Chromie caravan park so will head down there to test things out.

Now just need to get the brake controller and Anderson plug fitted looking at Tow Pro Elite which gets a good wrap, any recommendations for an auto elec in Melbourne SE suburbs, we are in Bonbeach.

Exciting times, cheers Tim.
