... and thats why what seems like a good idea in a pub, can get way out of hand.

(for the kids at home that didn't pay attention in history https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_Hall_Putsch  :cheers:)

Yes they have strict rules and try to keep threads relevant.  For that site that is a good thing.   I wish they would be even more strict when you are trying to get the latest info on a particular subject, some are way too long.  It is a brilliant web site and like this one it is free to join.   Kevin

I think just about every forum has their fair share of arrogant, condescending posters, and I haven't found LCOOL to be any worse than some I'm on. Maybe it is aimed more at the techo side of things and they don't want to clutter threads with "comical" banter.
