Anyone get to the Adelaide show today

Most of the usual suspects plus a few new ones, caravan overload really, not sure how you'd make a decision in that market.

One thing we were impressed with was the small format Rhinomax with the lift up bed idea, at 1100kg a great hybrid

Interesting you say that about the Rhinomax. It's a great little hybrid but I guess I was thinking there would be a lot more innovation for some reason. Quality though.

I was there on Wednesday and seeing 200 grey nomads lining up to get in right on 10am was funny.

I agree about the caravans... so much choice. I suspect you really don't need to get anything custom built as there are different variants to so many models you should be able to find something that works.

I'm on the hunt for a new CT and everyone had me pegged to be coming home with SOMETHING. But it didn't happen. I was certainly surprised by the lack of product knowledge a lot of the sales people had. If you are selling a premium product I don't expect or like to hear the phrase "sorry, i don't know the answer - i've never seen a trailer tent thing like this before this morning". One company had 3 CT's there and the owner of the company couldn't tell me where the battery was. The Lifestyle Campers guys are top notch. I think the Breakaway 2 + 2 is going to be just past my price range. One guy at one company argued with a potential customer while he sat on the step of the camper blocking people (us) trying to get in to have a look. After the potential customer stormed of the sales guy proceeded to tell us the camper was too heavy and not right for our needs. lol

We had a good look at the new LCT offerings which have some great ideas and may implement a couple on our Reconn.  The new AT with the Reconn kitchen is great, xyz will have the tape measure department out for that to make another poor imitation I'm sure.

I thought there was an air of desparation with some of the vendors
