G'day guys and girls,

I have posted up a couple of camping trips that I am setting up for members that may want to attend.

I am putting this up in the general section so that all members may see where/when I have listed these trips in the Trips and Tracks section.

Hi Mark,

Yes it is a tad far for you to travel, but they are both real great camping spots. Would be great to catch up with you and Kerry one day and share a few stories and a few .

The idea is to post this up and if any members are traveling up this way during those times they are more than welcome to come along and join up.

Times have changed as have my living/life conditions, I am going to try to take my grandkids camping every school holiday.

I am working on a camping trip for the September school holidays in the heart of the Gulf Savannah , but still chasing up some prices.

I am looking at a 6 to seven night trip and it will be a pay as you go thing.

Two nights at the Undara Caves/ Lava Tubes

Two nights at Cobbold Gorge

Easter weekend we are already booked elsewhere.
June/July holidays should see us doing our final preparations for our 3 week trip around the dinosaur trail area.
But September we are free and We loved Oaks Rush when we were there a few years ago.
Please keep us posted...

They not have hire campers in Cairns ? Just thinking the cost in fuel to drag one up there and back would  be pretty close to the cost of the hire for a week  or just go with a very basic setup and live out of the truck under a tarp and swags and enjoy the freedom   ;D
