Blue Water Campers
« on: January 26, 2016, 01:43:00 PM »
I've  have a Blue Water Darling Camper now for around 10 months and think it's about time I posted something about it. Most would know something about this style camper so not much to say except it suits us down to the ground. There has been some mods done, will talk about them later with pics if I really get keen. What I do want to say is the level of customer service I have had from them. I don't think that there would be many camper trailers that would not have something right with it when you take delivery, be it big or small. This was no different. What was different was the response from them when I have contacted them about the problems. The service from them has been 100% plus some. I cannot praise them enough. They have never tried to shy away from anything relating to a problem, it's always been fixed, no questions asked. I think that some are out there that stand behind their product fully even after they have your money and Blue Water Campers are one of them. Good service should have good publicity and lots of it.  :cup: for Blue Water Campers from me.

I own a bluewater mitchell have had it for just ovef a year  have had a few problems which should of been fixed before delivery though have fixed them myself issue 1 :  poorly wired 12 volt system have re wired properly  issue 2: kitchen cook top not secured propery  3: no user guide regarding electrical system or camper trailer had to work it out myself was never explained on hand over issue 4: inner spring matress was as hard as a rock not able to sleep on it has now been replaced with memory foam matress way better
You say about customer service well improvements need to be made just for starters user guide for set up close down electrical system diagram  and for them to show you how to set up and close up  camper .even though l knew how to do it what about first timers

I purchased mine from Blue Water directly and have dealt with them directly at their factory in Pakenham Victoria. As I said, they fixed the problems without a drama. I know that who I dealt with has moved on from them. When we picked ours up we spent a good 1hr being shown the set up and pack up of it. Maybe they could do a dvd of the set up of all their campers. Didn't really worry us as we have put up and down enough things to cope with it. Electrically didn't think it was hard to work out, a main switch fed from the battery to isolators for lights, pumps, sockets and fridge and a switch to isolate the battery from the Anderson plug at the drawbar. They did show us this too at pick up. Wiring wise I would say it's a lot better than some I've come across. We had a foam mattress that was like a rock, high density and unable to sleep on it. Tried a topper on it, worked but I didn't like that it increased the height by too much for me. Changed it for another foam mattress, wife likes it  but I don't, think you don't always get what you want with them. This is not our first camper and I have had some real dramas with the others both with the camper and the manufacturers. The comments made about my dealings with them I believe  are fair and they deserved them. I will also say it's good to see others posting their dealings good or bad. See your from the Sunshine Coast, who do you deal with up there?

I bought a Tanami from them direct 2 years ago. Yes, I had minor issues. All sorted hassle free. Nothing was too hard. They spent ages with me showing me how to use it. Highly recommended.
