There was a 4x4 tv show recently. Some parts they couldn't get to. Was entertaining.

Yep, I have the book. If you are a B&W history fan then it's worth every cent. Even if you are not it will give you some ideas for good trips. I have done about 2/3rd of the trip in stages but need to do from Boulia to the top.

 Got the book a few months ago. I reckon it would be an essential reference for anyone planning the whole or part of the route. I'm going to fit the B&W route into some other trips and this book will be with me all the way but I reckon it's just a good read, mind you I'm a B&W junkie.

This is the best Burke and Wills DVD that have seen so far.  It was made on the 150th anniversary of the expedition. I was taught a lot about it at school in the 1950s but not in this much detail.

We do better trips than they did  ;D Yes they got there 1st but it still didn't end well . l wouldn't have gone as the beer supply would have bogged a few camels        :cheers:
