What are your plans for Aus Day Long Weekend 2016?

In our case a group of VIC/ACT swagg'rs heading to Corryong on the NSW/VIC border to enjoy the Snowy Mountains and Vic HC. All welcome. If you've never been to a myswag weekend before, great way to meet new swagg'rs and have a barrel of laughs.

Working the Monday  >:( Dick I work for has just introduced a rule that extra days off are not to be taken either side of a public holiday weekend! This includes this relevant Monday. No reasons (even asked privately), just now company policy  >:( No more 4 day weekends, wether you have the time accrued or not. Time to start looking for somewhere more in-tune to my way of life  ;D

Have a week booked at Myall Lakes, taking up the boat and settling in for 5 days....

Might have to reassess, Bulladhela copped 250mm of rain, with some serious flooding, not that interested if its all covered in silt & crap....

I used to look a year ahead and get in 1st and book those sort of days in as holiday leave.  Where I used to work, unless they had urgent work to be done, they couldn't refuse you holidays if no one else was off.
