Best provider for insurance on a CT?
« on: January 03, 2016, 07:17:28 AM »

Hey All,
We have just bought a first CT and currently shopping around for insurance on her. Anyone got any advice on a good insurance provider? Maybe one that includes some portable items such as the fridge etc.....
Any and all advice is appreciated...

Cheers

CIL here too and they will let you add extra cover for items if you think you need more than the standard $1,000 they offer.

I did do a thread search first, but it brought up so many threads and most pertained to people ranting about their insurance companies, so I just thought i'd ask the question.....

Cheers.....

Check out your current car / house insurer. Usually you get multi policy discounts, but cross check with other companies.

Is it necessary to have a crack at every person who asks a question? How about let people SHARE the site, not have it dominated by the same old names calling the shots.

CIL.

The point i'm trying to make is that every time i log onto this site to get some info i find myself trawling through pages and pages of crap rabble from the same old names who have their daily catch up via threads. These same people are the ones who sook about new threads being made. Maybe if you all had a chat somewhere else then it wouldn't be such a pain in the ass when people need to search for info. But i'm guessing you are just gonna tell me i'm a wanker anyway as you will want to get the last word in. End rant mate.

The reason search is so crap is that there ARE 298234094 threads on the std subjects.. maybe it should be a sticky and add it to the 20 irrelevant stickies that nobody looks at at the top of the general chat section
Or just its own 'child' section under FAQ...
