Can anyone with CAD draw this better for me
« on: December 07, 2015, 08:12:40 PM »
Hi all I,m asking a favour here.. my drawing skills are up there with my writing skills  :-[ :-[ :-[

I have done this with paint but its not at a standard I can give to a fabricator

here are the pics

the jerry holders are the rough idea of what i want but obv it will be a 3 can holder not a twin and the unit will still have a tapper from back to front .

If anyone can help if its not too much trouble I would be very grateful

What about a hand drawing with dimensions. If getting sent off for water/laser cutting then cad is the way to go otherwise a sketch is all you need

Will this help you out Jet, I took it that it would be made out of 3mm Ally plate and the 190 mm  measurements are internal .. No good at CAD stuff either, pen and ruler is quicker . ;D

Can a C.A.D. pro rework this and make it prettier and not so rough, please ..

When I'm done I will get you some figures to compare against the Kimberley mate  :D ;D

My KK went 220ish so if I can stay below 250 I will be happy yes that more like 15-18% of tare and 10 is the wholly Grail , I am comfortable with it for now .

Weight mitigation strategies will also be employed to get that weight off the nose asap so fuel into car tanks and water into camper tanks asap I wount be tripping around the GRR with it all full all the time

Lol, my comment was in reference to the concrete high rise basement going on the drawbar.🤗 All good.
