Greetings Earthlings
« on: October 30, 2015, 10:39:55 PM »
Consider me a complete noob. Just in the very beginning planning stages; a group of us want to take a trip from the East Coast across to the Pilbara & Kimberley.
The Sydney contingent will head west, and pick up our SA & Melbourne companions around Port Augusta, then to Alice, and across the Tanami Road.
I'd like to continue thru to Darwin from there, but we're still planning. Depends on how much time people can take.
As long as possible would be ideal. 2 or 3 vehicles, traveling at a pace that allows us to really experience the country we're travelling through, and stop to camp at various locations along the way.
It's our dream trip.
I came across your site looking for something else and thought, yep, that's what we need, to listen to the experience of all those who've done it before, from the outset.
So... looking forward to browsing your threads and hearing all the stories.
Cheers all,
Swanee
