For those that don't know gluten is the protein part of the grains wheat, rye, barley, malt and somewhat oats due to manufacturing processes. Sugar parts of those grains( glucose etc) are ok.

This is too true as this is why there is more gluten intolerant people now then in the 60's and 70's.

The manufacturing process of grains has changed considerably in the past 40 years I believe it is in the way it is baked.

Also if your on Facebook check out the page "Gluten free on a shoestring" has some very good recipes.

Insensitive is my middle name and I find the best way to deal with problems is head on, not beating about the bush.  If you are a bit sensitive, just scroll straight past my replies !!   8) 8)

Wow, just wow. You've inspired me gronk. Think I might head out tomorrow and tell the father of a young down syndrome boy that he has bred a piss weak child and should have let nature finish the job before he was born. If he gets angry at me, I'll just tell him he's insensitive and to get over it. Perfect logic.

The bloke would already know that.....I don't think he would need reminding......he has probably run it thru his mind a thousand times since birth..

We are at the stage now with medicine ( ethics aside ) that BEFORE birth, we can have a choice whether to bring a disabled person into the world !

There will come a time ( if WW3 doesn't kill us all ) when this may become mandatory !!

I think this thread has been used and abused enough. The OP has his answer and the protagonists have had a run as well.

Nothing good can come from letting it go on further.
