Jazz, Im only just starting to try and get into. So many jazz styles, some I can't get in to though.

One I bought recent is Wayne Shorter, speak no evil. Relxted style jazz that I dont mind.

This arrived today, John Coltranes Blue Train, an oldie but its quiet good, very mellow too.
A tip for you, most albums can be listened to on YouTube. If Im looking at an unknown artist, I listen to it, not very good sound I know, but you get an idea of their style.

i've never really played much music when i go camping to be honest, but mates have started doing it whilst sitting around the camfire of late (not to loud mind you), and is good to sing along to as the night goes on. Mates have similar taste in music as me (same age roughly), they'll have anything from  Linkin Park, to Cold Chisel, Limp Biscuit, Johnny Cash, Guns and Roses, Angles, Alice Cooper, Kiss etc playing on random in the background on a small speaker pod (most of which I have on a usb in my Fourby stereo). One mate likes his country music also, I'm not the biggest fan of it, but can listen and enjoy it in small doses.....i'll listen to a decent variety really, though i draw the line at boy band love song type music

At the suggestion of a work colleague, I listened to a bit of classical music (London Symphony Orchestra 50 greatest classical pieces). It was ok, and I was surprised how many I recognised but can’t say it will end up on high rotation.

I like to have my speaker going quietly in the background most of the time. Not loud, I’m no party animal that enjoys screaming out a conversation over the noise, but so we can talk when we like but also kick back and enjoy the tunes.
I don’t mind a bit of Johnny Cash but that modern twangy stuff singing about their tractor/dog/how they like their chicken fried is hard to cop, I’d rather gently pull my finger nails off with pliers while sitting on a meat ants nest than cop that  >:D

Just got the new album from A Perfect Circle a few days ago. Its quite a bit more chilled out than some of their previous work, but I must say I've been really enjoying it

Feels like a good day to binge on some Celibate Rifles today.
Started of easy with the 'Heaven on a stick' album, getting into the early faster stuff now.

Hearing those tunes of Damien Lovelock reminded me of my favorite song on one of my favorite VHS surf movies as a young teen....
