Friday arvo, just finish night shift, Kamado is cooking a rump roast, the kids are coming over,  enjoying a few coldies, and playing an oldie but a goodie. Its the simple things that really matter.
The $12.99 sticker made me smile.

Cheers Glen

A bit of King Crimson last night. In The Court Of The Crimson King.
A bit of trippy music from the early 70's

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

Thanks mate, don't mind a bit of trippy music from the early 70's myself. ;D

Can't believe I haven't heard their stuff 'till now.  ???
21st Century Schizoid Man just got added to my drum solo playlist with Led Zeppelin's Moby Dick (live), Bonzo's Montreux and a few others...

If anyone else has a favorite drums track throw them up here, I'd been keen to get some more names on my playlist. ;)

Ah the 60's and 70's, the golden age of chemically induced musical genius.
Most of my music comes from that era.

Hasn’t that riff been ripped off over the years... ;)

I got a bit lost somewhere around the 12 or 13 minute mark, but they dragged me back in towards the end of it. ;D

Speaking of Cream...downloaded a Classic Album video from iTunes today on Cream's Disraeli Gears...interesting.
Also downloaded The Doors LA Women and Carly Simon's first album.
Also have on DVD Black Sabbath Paranoid & Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon.
These were a good series to catch of Foxtel at the time....as well as Live At Abbey Road which was on around the early 00's.

Good company and good music.
Just added some more speakers to the system. An old pair of of KEF Concertos. Just rewired them and upgraded the terminal posts. They sound good already. Waiting on a pair of upgrade crossovers for them to really make them sing.
Listening to an oldie in Quadrophonic.

My stock of band shirts is getting pretty low these days, after my 2 Led Zeppelin shirts finally disintegrated and the misses threw out my favorite Screaming Jets t shirt while I wasn't looking a few weeks ago >:(
Now I'm down to a couple of John Butler Trio's and my uncle's pub band shirts, not good...

So I just ordered a bunch of band merch from some of my favorite alternative artists in the US (can't wait to see the Primus hoodie when it gets here ).
I finally found something that I can buy without paying the Australia Tax....  :cup:

Purchase direct from the artist, it's actually cheaper than eBay Aus and your cash goes straight to the guys you want to support (well via a merch company I guess, but as direct as you can go to the artists without buying stuff at their gigs ).
