It was a great night; heaps of fun meeting everybody for the first time.

Thoroughly recommend these get togethers for any newbe wanting to get to know some fellow swaggers a bit better...   Very friendly bunch; (sober, and not so sober later on..   ;D   LOL)...

And it was hilarious how the manager finished up kicking us all out of the bowls club... !!

But maybe he was just trying to create a nice "camping atmosphere" for us...          ;D
You get out and in to the world -- you take more @#&$. …You climb a little higher, ..you take less @#&$.  …Till one day -- you're up in the rarefied atmosphere -- and you've forgotten what @#&$ even looks like….  Welcome to the layer cake son.

Had a great night, company superb with a few funny stories to enjoy. Had to kick a few geriatrics out of the way getting to the bar but all good. Seriously the venue could not have been better, great view, beer cold and food was very good value and quality.
Thanks to Scarps for organising this and for hand delivering (Swagmail works again) my Hema Atlas from the Vic meeting raffle. Will come in very handy.
Any time guys was a good night. Finally got to scare the living daylights out of Scarps driving him through the city to his abode for the night.

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.
