Picked up the new Eagle Outback
« on: September 20, 2015, 09:55:48 AM »
Well, the wife picked up the new camper Friday no problems. The team were really good at showing her everything about it and how to put it up and down, and also adjusted the electric brakes for her, which had us both worried as we know nothing about them. So as it turned out it towed like a dream and we had it up in about an 30min. We tried out the fridge, the lights, and the water tank, Now its time to pack it with plates and food and all those other little things you like to take along. The wife already has a question, do most of you store things in tubs so they don't roll around when your packing things away? So its just finish packing it today and head off Tuesday, no idea where were going but were going.

Cheers

Congrats on your new CT.  looking forward to seeing you pics.

Nearly all of our stuff is stored in tubs. It makes the CT much easier to unload and load when in tubs.  All of our cooking, cutlery, crockery goes in tubs under the bed.

Hi Medic
We use only one (1) tub in the eagle, to hold the things we use every day (sauce, pepper & salt, tea, coffee, sugar and oil)
dishes (plastic plates & bowls) are placed on the shelves in the camper.
Al the heavy pots & pans are on the floor in side the cupboard.( al heavy objects are stored on the floor)
Cloths are stored in bags and the bedding is in linen bags
