With only 28 days to go,

Its time to pull it out and have a play.
Make sure ya full of gas, wheel bearings are good.
Plenty of room for grog.

Whats not to like about Rainbow today ... Sun sparkling up the sea with 3 knt gentle breeze,  1 ft surf and low tide in an hour, 24* air 20* deg water temps plus a bit of scattered rain cloud on the DI Point side and horizon ...  :cheers:

Mate, between living at Tin Can, having Rainbow, D. Island, Fraser and the Great Sandy Strait as ya back yard.......

I don't think living can get much better.

The only thing that worries me, is a lot of the attendees in 4 weeks won't wanna leave.

Hey Edz, ya know there are ensuited cabins on site for the Nat Meet, seeing as ya camper ain't finished yet.

24 days left to go.

Keep in mind, lots of swaggers will have been there for a few days though.
Rusty's getting there the Sunday before, we'll roll in on the Monday before and lots of others.
Should be some serious liver damage and dead brain cells by the Friday Official Welcome Sausage Sizzle thingy.

Oh Boy, I thought we were gunna be in heaps big trouble with the Nat Meet today.... serious, I nearly crapped myself.

But I think i've saved the day and we all dodged a bullet.

About 11am, brrrring, brrrring, brrring..

Me: Hello.

Oh yes, i'm Justin Beiber's event manager.

Me: Yeah, so?

Well, we heard you have this fantastic get together coming up in few weeks.

Me: Yeah, so?

Well, Mr Beiber would like to perform at your get together.

Me: Oh hell, I mean, oh... would he....oh, we could never afford someone so famous i'm sorry.

Oh, Mr Beiber would like to perform free of charge.

GEEZ, I had to think fast, I had to get rid of him......

So I spurted out, "ah, its ok, we've One Direction playing.... sorry." 

Now we've all gotta pray that One Direction don't hear about the Nat Meet in Rainbow Beach.   ;D

Hey Jeepers, I am thinking about grabbing a kayak to bring up, having not used one before I was wondering how the tidal flow is around the area. I would hate to get washed out to sea.

You'll be fine with the Kayak. As well as using in the straights it would be good to take out to the point for a paddle if there is no or little surf, which I am kind of expecting.
