Place to stay near Sippy Downs QLD - Near USC
« on: July 01, 2015, 08:54:03 PM »
Hi

I will be spending the whole of September at University of Sunshine Coast at Sippy Downs in Qld. I need a place to live. I have a camper that I will take with me and am looking for a caravan park to stay for the month. I need a powered site, and would prefer something on the coast or next to a river. I love fishing so want to indulge in this in the mornings and evenings. I am prepared to travel around 30 km each way to the uni. Any suggestions of a good safe place?

Thanks

Lalit

Hi Lalit

You'd be hard pressed to find a better place than Cotton Tree Camping Ground.

Talk to Karen or Robbie (Mngrs) at Mudjimba Beach Holiday Park.    Always been very helpful for me when organising group camps.   See what they can do for you.   Right on the beach and short 2 min drive to Maroochydore River - opposite side to Cottontree.

Thanks Squalo and McTavish. I will email them both tomorrow to see if I can get a powered site for a month. They both seem quite close to SCU. Cotton Tree is closer I think.
