for towing a 1.8t CT in the sand?

Any help appreciated.

That's a hard call. I did hear recently that a Porsche Cayenne was drowned on an island so clearly the 4WD system in question, not sure the Suzuki Vitara has enough grunt, it might need a chip and new exhaust system, so I guess that only leaves the V6 TD Navara;D

I am going to vote for the Grand Vitara.
Only cause no one else will.
Or perhaps a Lada as an alternate option.

Edit... Also depends on the ball weight.
If they have to wait long. It's no good.

Really?? Can we keep this on track please. I only want to know about the cars mentioned,not some missin ute or an in a hurry wagon.

I thought it was about tyre pressure when towing a 1.8t camper on the sand with locomotive.

ill say a Dmax..

There so many people with them that's it really easy to get spare parts.. And the best thing I've found is that they don't come aftermaket recovery points..

But a close second would be an xtrail.. I'm sorry taking it off track

Just talking to my neighbour yesterday about a Cayenne in his workshop.....the owner had tried to put it in low range....succeeded but it wouldn't come out.....lesson, if you own a Cayenne, use the 4wd system often or not at all..

So, my choice is the dmax..

On paper I'd say the Porka. But is the extra price worth it?

Base model Porsche Cayenne Diesel - max torque 580Nm. D-Maz LSU Crew Cab = 380 Nm
Porka=193KW / DMAX= 130KW
Fuel Capacity: Porka=100L / DMAX = 76
Porka has a lower Gross weight by about 100kg (Payload of about 700kg) / DMAX payload of 1000kg
If you get a model with air suspension the Porka's ground clearance is 271mm vs DMAX 235mm. Non air suspension is 217mm.

No idea about ball weights though
