Swim in it??Was driving past with work and dropped in......it would fun jumping off the ledges.

For a mine site, it does not look to active to me from the photo.
Some one must have a active mining lease over the land and claiming an exemption over working it, to claim the mine is active, otherwise it is not active, is it.
